October 25 – November 5, 2025 · 12 days and 11 nights across the Maasai Mara, Amboseli and Solio Reserve.
Arrival and briefing
Airport pickup on arrival and transfer to your Nairobi hotel. Over dinner we walk through your photography goals, personal strengths, and what you want to work on over the next twelve days.
Into the Mara
A four to five hour road transfer after breakfast. Arrive in time for lunch and head straight out for the first afternoon game drive — orientation, getting comfortable in the vehicle, and setting up for golden hour.

Three full days entirely dedicated to photography. Out at first light, back when the sun is high, out again for the afternoon session. Dhir guides you actively — camera settings, positioning, timing — as it happens.
3 Nights · Overnight · Mara Ol Kinyei →Drive back and rest
Early breakfast, then the drive back to Nairobi. Afternoon at leisure with an optional image review in the evening — no pressure, depending on energy. A chance to breathe before the next leg.
Elephants and Kilimanjaro
A completely different style of photography — wide, open, with an iconic backdrop. The afternoon drive introduces you to the scale of elephant herds and the challenge of using a mountain as a compositional element.

One full day to go deeper into Amboseli's unique landscape — close-range elephant encounters, Kilimanjaro backdrops when conditions allow, and the lakebed scenes that make Amboseli one of the most photographed parks in Africa.

After breakfast we drive back to Nairobi, arriving by afternoon. Time to rest, charge equipment and casually review Amboseli images before the final leg of the trip.
Into Solio
The final location. A private, exclusive reserve — not a national park, not a tourist circuit — known for its remarkable rhino population, the access, and the quiet that lets you slow down and shoot with intention.

A full day for black and white rhinos, low-angle perspectives, and the clean, uncluttered compositions Solio is famous for. The evening closes with your final image review — looking back at the best work from the full twelve days.

After breakfast we drive back to Nairobi. Transfer direct to the airport for your international departure. You leave with a body of work you're genuinely proud of — and a very different relationship with your camera.
