Amboseli Photography Tour - Kenya
Expert-led photo tour to Amboseli
Amboseli is a breathtaking wildlife photography destination, best known for its massive elephant herds roaming beneath the towering backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro—Africa’s highest peak.
With open grasslands, lush swamps, Lake Amboseli, and acacia woodlands, the park offers a striking mix of landscapes that support a rich variety of wildlife.
Beyond its iconic elephant herds, Amboseli is home to occasional super tuskers like the world-famous Craig, along with lion prides, cheetahs, zebras, giraffes, hippos, and an abundance of birdlife—including flamingoes around the lake.
Unlike the predator-heavy Masai Mara, Amboseli offers a more relaxed photography experience, allowing you to push your creative boundaries. Here, it’s all about composition, lighting, and storytelling, using elements like the majestic Kilimanjaro backdrop, dramatic foregrounds, and unique subject framing. You’ll start to feel less like a photographer and more like an artist.
